Questions parents ask
Do I stay, or is it drop-off?
It’s drop-off. You’re welcome to head out for the morning while your child does gymnastics and movement with our coaches.
Who’s with my child?
5280 coaches who specialize in early-childhood movement, with a 5280 leader on site. We keep groups small: one coach for every 5 Tiny Movers and one for every 8 Little Movers. Every 5280 coach 18 and older is SafeSport trained and certified through USA Gymnastics, and all staff pass a background check before they’re hired. Our SafeSport policy →
Do I need a membership or a package?
No. During our launch pilot you book and pay one morning at a time.
Do we need to be 5280 members?
No, everyone is welcome. Families who aren’t 5280 members can book too.
What should my child bring?
Please pack a water bottle, a snack, diapers and wipes, and a change of clothes. Little Movers (9am–1pm) also bring a lunch.
Does my child need to be potty trained?
No. Children don’t need to be potty trained. Diaper and bathroom breaks are built into the morning.
What if we need to cancel?
Bookings are non-refundable. If your child is sick or something comes up, email southinfo@5280gymnastics.com and we’ll consider exceptions case by case.
What if not enough kids sign up?
Each morning needs at least 3 registered kids to run. We confirm by 8:00pm the night before. If a morning doesn’t fill, we’ll let you know and you can move to another morning or get a full refund.
How is this different from Sweet Peas?
Sweet Peas are our weekly preschool gymnastics classes, and the youngest ones are parent-and-child. Parents’ Morning Out is a drop-off morning of play and movement you can book one day at a time.
Want to stay and play together?
Sweet Peas are weekly preschool gymnastics classes for ages 6 months–6 years, including parent-and-child classes. And for evenings out, there’s Parents’ Night Out.
Two gyms. 25 years. Olympians, first forward rolls, and everything in between.
